Giddyup is a Granger designed 38 foot high performance luxury sailing catamaran built by the very capably team at Lightwave Yachts. It will be available for charter in Pittwater Sydney Austraia through Smart Boating from December 2015, proir to that it was in charter in Australia's beautiful Whitsunday Islands on the Great Barrier Reef with Charter Yachts Australia.

Being a Granger Design this catamaran actualy sails, unlike many other catamarans available today. We could point it to nearly 15 degrees to the wind during the delivery trip and had it going just over 20 knots. The raised helm has 360 degree visability with room for two, plus still in contact with the cockpit and visiability down to the main galley.
Built for Australian conditions it is an open plan design, people in the main galley have visability with everyone in the cockpit and all the way to the helm. With long glass windows along both sides given uninterupted views outside from all the cabins and a light and open feeling in all the rooms.
This catamaran features a small galley upstairs with stove, sink and microwave next to the saloon without compromising on the seating around a large table in the saloon. There is a larger fully functioning galley down stairs for the chefs. Lots of fridge space including one upstairs with the outside large BBQ. Easy access to the water from both transoms and includes Bose sound, DVD, and Air Conditioning in two of the cabins (while connected to shore power). The outside is different from most Lightwave 38 with a larger roofed cockpit giving lots of shalter and for rainy days it can be completely enclosed.
